I am framing truth from the trenches of life.  A passionate Christian lives intentionally, and yes, I am a Jesus fan.  Are you?

People ask, “Why do I believe in God?”  More specifically, what is my Christian faith founded on?  These dialogs usually take place within inner circles, but HeavenlyRealms.com transcends these boundaries and takes it to a public square.

Choosing to become a Christian is generally not a decision taken lightly. I Don may be able to help.  This article shares why I myself believe in God.  It touches on my atheist-turned-Christian testimony and zooms in on several of my gravitational reasons.

I didn’t grow up in a God-fearing home, nor did I attend church other than for weddings and funerals and such.  I was loosely aware of Christianity but honestly didn’t care to understand it.  Yet, at the age of 17, I became a Christian and have never looked back.

Without getting too personal, the pivotal undercurrent of my motivation was that Jesus Christ suddenly became relevant to me.  This is my prime achievement.  Can a saved person see Christ as irrelevant?  Regardless of who you are or at what level your intelligence, the unique relevance of the Lord can be found.  My experiential advice to any investigator is to find this first.

After acknowledging his relevance myself, I earnestly set atheism aside to give faith a chance to grow, and apathy also departed. I began to visualize the real artistry of our creator and then routinely witness proved biblical truths that are demonstrated by the world.

My outlook and viewpoint on life are now totally repurposed as I continuously apply due diligence for advancing and solidifying my faith. One of my hallmarks is knowing that the Holy Bible is mankind’s only reference to a selfless ethos.  Jesus Christ gets my best choice award even without objective proof of God’s existence.

Extending this out a little more, there is no preferred system of justice greater than our Lord’s, maintaining omniscient love as its standard.  One might ask, “Why be judged at all?”  Well, to me, that is what defines the foundation of hell, free of any obligation for love.

Unlike full-on chaos, heaven is the designated place where a righteous civilization advances.  My faith leans into these two strongholds, plus knowing that any regret for my faith can only come from selfishness.

I tend to view solipsism as humanity’s birthing philosophy, and while belief in it may not be common, the masses generally do not stray far from its values.  Much like a land peppered with zombies, the secular population is mauling one another physically, mentally, and emotionally.  We are all dead spiritually until born again.

The truth is, by my definition, omniscient love does not promote involuntary cooperation.  And, I also do not believe that successful repentance is necessary for unity with Christ.  I cringe when Christians thump on this word in the bible.  The issue of repentance is between you and the Holy Spirit. That’s your providence once you invite him in.

The above provides my explanation on knowing who God is.  Now, let’s progress to the subject of evidence in terms of creation theory.  Along with the science community, I believe in objective reality, but i disagree with atheistic scientists on its boundaries.  Grounding objective reality to materialism turns science into a faith-based religion.  Systemic science apparently has no home for faith.

Objective proof, on the other hand, is an impossibility.  This is by God’s design.  If objective proof is your benchmark for Christian submission, you are doomed.  The demand for objective proof exposes a position of rejection until forced by involuntary cooperation.

Believing in the creation theory is not an extraordinary claim. Christian faith is not blind and there is sufficient durable ordinary evidence to back it up.  Start with research on intelligent design.  Learn about all the variants of evolution theory.  Doing so will teach you that very smart people support both sides.

Wouldn’t you agree that the natural world doesn’t perform miracles?  That said, there is a big elephant in the room.  The origin of the physical cosmos, so far as we know, required a miracle.  Atheists grapple with this by manufacturing nonsensical ideas such as touting that nature can create itself naturally or by promoting the multi-verse, i.e., an endless supply of elephants supporting elephants in an eternal viscious circle.

II Don includes my favorite collection of evidence.  Check it out. But for now, I would like to close with a final thought. Speaking from experience, I see no advantages in being an atheist other than to allow contempt for selflessness, but enormous value is derived from a proper Christian faith.  The floor is open.  Share specifics if you disagree.

Well, these are the thoughts of an everyday Christian.  If you like my tenacity and wish to provide encouragement, you can show your appreciation with a small tip.  Follow my series, and please share with others.

Wishing you lifelong hope,
